How good are clicks4u? - Twenty-Nine Google Page 1's say we are good

We are often told that the only search engine that matters is Google (we would not agree with that because Google's robots and spiders crawl most of the other search engines and therefore the more search engines that your site is listed in, the greater the chance that Google will list you).

At clicks4u we believe that successful Search Engine Optimisation is achieved by specifically determining two factors; (1) what are the key words and key phrases that prospective clients will use if they are looking for the services or products that you offer and (2) what is your catchment area for propspective clients.

In the case of clicks4u the major key phrases were; pay per click marketing, ppc marketing, internet marketing, search engine optimisation (and its often mis-spelt variant search engine optimization), search engine marketing and search engine advertising. In terms of our client catchment area, we opted for West Sussex, East Sussex and to a lesser extent Bognor Regis. We also believe that successful website optimisation is achieved when you have a significant number of Google page 1 listings for the combination of your keyphrases and yor key locations.

On the 20th September 2008 we checked out clicks4u.co.uk's Google performance, this is what we found:

This page went LIVE on the 20th September 2008, we developed it because a friend asked us how his site could be found for searches that were Chichester specific. on the 1st October we checked progress and this is what we found:
